This is a project we have been planning for a while now and we are really excited to see it finally, or better yet to actually hear it. We premiered our Canna Tips section on Radio Zoom on the 18th of May, now you can hear us every day! Our goal has always been to educate the community, and we are committed to finding new ways to do so. However, we know that even though social media is the most used means of communication, there is also a part of the population that still consumes traditional media as well. This is why our mission continues now through Radio Zoom 91.9, Tu Guía is constantly evolving to be of service to our society.
Have you heard us already? If you would like to review the first episode, you came to the right place. What is the difference between Cannabis, Hemp, and Marijuana? We break it down in less than 1 minute so that we do not interrupt the audience and they can continue with their tasks as usual.
An educated society, better policies
In our fight for legalization, we understand the power of consulting to educate and educating to empower. The Cannabis plant is very complex and there is relatively little research available on its effects and interactions with the human body. This is why it is so important that research be legalized so that universities and other scientific organizations have the opportunity to study the plant. Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and Cannabidiol (CBD) are among the most well-known cannabinoids, but there are approximately 120 other compounds as well. In order to understand how they interact in our endocannabinoid system, we need more trained professionals from different areas.
Additionality, educated consumers can make better decisions for themselves, and an educated society generally creates and expects better politics. Proper education not only keeps people safe but also motivates them to get involved in their local communities when it comes to politics. Because of that as we move forward in this new industry, education will continue to be incredibly important.
Better together
Fortunately, in our country there is finally a law that will regulate the use of Industrial Hemp and Medicinal Cannabis, the only thing that is needed is for the new government to create and publish the regulations. Of course, this has taken years and the road was full of obstacles for everyone involved in the project, it is understandable for being such a stigmatized plant and the common root of this stigma is the fear of the unknown. The bright side is that we are making progress and even local and international conferences have already been held in the country. Here at Tu Guía, we have followed all the news on this topic, right here on our blog you will find interviews, videos, and much more to keep up with the Cannabis law.
In addition to this, we also consider it essential that we unite and collaborate among all the Cannabis groups and organizations. That is why we are always looking for outstanding professionals who want to share their knowledge from our platform, and we also work with brands that meet all of the quality requirements. In this first installment of Canna Tips we produced episodes together with the brand Better Nature, which we have reviewed several times.
We would like to thank you for supporting us, sharing our content, and motivating us to continue, because this is just the beginning of our journey. We have several communication channels, you can contact us here or through our social media.
